Community Empowerment

Who We Are

Community empowerment is something we at EZTaskr feel very passionate about. The founders are focused on aiding in the education and upliftment of local communities.

We partnered with Mthimkhulu Community Development Program to provide free computer literacy courses to the community of Kleinmond. We provided classes over the course of several months twice a week to a community with no high school. Due to this Kleinmond has a high school dropout rate paired with limited job opportunities.

Focusing on computer literacy skills for employment readiness and online work. Our lessons are geared at teaching more than computer literacy but aiding in basic hard and soft skills.

Some employment focus points are:

typing speed
documentation
internet security
professional communication
remote work opportunities and more.

Furthermore we incorporated lessons unusual for computer class like budgeting, freelancing, skill-building, CV’s, and more. We will continue building out a dynamic computer literacy lesson plan to ensure we provide the most comprehensive job readiness computer class.

What We Do

— The Youth

We do computer lessons for the youth. We at EZTaskr believe that we need to equip communities with the right skills to be able to create opportunities. More so in communities with limited to no opportunities.

— Over 35 Years Program

Too often the older generation gets overlooked. So we made it a point to provide the opportunity to learn to anyone willing. We offer a second computer literacy class to the over 35 year old’s.

— NGO's Websites

We launched a free NGO and NPO website program. Because these organisations rely on public funding we want to do our part. If you know of a NGO or NPO that is in need of a website we are able to assist with a website.

04.

— School Websites

We know public schooling funds are so tight its best spent on the kids. So EZTaskr has taken it upon them to aid with the creation of a free website if you are a public school and have no website.

05.

— Disabled Class

The Grail hosted a skill building course for an Overberg disabled youth group and EZTaskr facilitated the computer lessons over the course of 3 days.

06.

— Youth Employment

EZTaskr facilitated a 3-day Computer Literacy basic skills course. The course was under a greater employment skill development program hosted by Mthimkhulu Community Development Programme.
